Manifestos and Quotes

The Mozilla project is a global community of people who believe that openness, innovation, and opportunity are key to the continued health of the Internet. We have worked together since 1998 to ensure that the Internet is developed in a way that benefits everyone.

I can’t tell you enough how much both mission statements/manifestos resonate with me. Especially after my ‘lightning strike’ moment. I’ve always loved the internet and learning more about organizations I’ve admired since forever is making the path I want clearer.

The ‘how’ of it though is still a mystery to me and hopefully the steps I’m taking now will bring me closer to my goal.

One of things I’m doing is applying to become a Mozilla Affiliate  and I was happy to see that we also have a local Mozilla Community but it seems it’s still too early for me to join the Mozilla Reps.

I have to get out there and be more active, like the quote said, ‘99% of Life is showing up’ and that’s what I have to do more. Get out there, take a chance and show up.
